Thanks for inquiring about the Delaware Swim and Fitness Center Tri-Dawgs. We started as a small group of friends in 2007. Today we have over 325 who are affiliated with the team ranging in ability from world championship qualifiers to novices. You can also find us on Facebook.
We have managed to negotiate a number of sponsorships that allow our team members to take advantage of great discounts on various products and membership discounts to the Delaware Swim and Fitness Centers. We have an e-mail distribution list and each week I post a swim practice and swimming and training tips on this website. I also send out a weekly e-mail with race information and results as well as updates on group training sessions and other helpful information.
We have one formal swim practice per week that I coach on Saturday. Check with me to see if I have any openings. In April we will be starting our Monday evening track workouts at McKean High School starting at 6:00 PM and we will be starting our Tuesday evening group bike rides leaving Jennersville YMCA at 6:00 PM. Starting each May we have open water swims at Lums Pond at 6:00 PM on Wednesdays weather permitting. These are for Tri-Dawg members only.
We only ask our team members to compete as the Delaware Swim and Fitness Center Tri-Dawgs in return and to wear our uniforms and clothing whenever possible as a way of promoting our sponsors.
